On January 10th, the Pakistan-China B2B Conference (Plastics) was held in Guangzhou. Leaders from the Consulate General of Pakistan in Guangzhou, the Board of Investment of Pakistan, the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province and other organizations attended the event. Guangzhou Plastic Industrial Group Co., Ltd (for short GZPL), which is subsidiary of Guangzhou Textiles Industry & Trade Holding Ltd (for short TIT), was invited to participate. The conference aimed to deepen exchanges and cooperation between Pakistani and Chinese companies in the plastic field and further promote economic and trade exchanges between the two countries.
Under the strategic guidance of the Guangzhou Consumer Goods and Services Group Ltd (for short GCGS) and TIT, GZPL as one of the earliest professional plastic products manufacturers and raw material trading enterprises in South China, has actively carried out trade cooperation with countries along the Belt and Road in recent years. Pakistan has become one of the company’s important export destinations.
At the conference, through active negotiations with the organizers and foreign merchants, GZPL, with its excellent qualifications, was invited to be one of the enterprises signing the Letter of Intent on the spot, having signed the agreement with the ambassador of the Pakistani consulate. This Letter of Intent will enable the GZPL to be included in the list of high - quality Chinese merchants of the Pakistani embassy, and the embassy will recommend cooperation opportunities to suitable manufacturers in Pakistan.
Through this conference, GZPL builded connections with many outstanding enterprises in the Pakistani plastics industry and high - quality domestic merchants, laying a preliminary foundation for cooperation. At the same time, it gained a better understanding of the overall situation and advantageous resources of the Pakistani plastics industry, and also brought the Plastic Company into a broader international spotlight.
